Welcome to my little studio. I'm Jessica Decker, a former beach bum from the east coast of Florida and now proudly serving the Cottage Grove and surrounding areas of Minnesota.
With over a decade behind the chair, I specialize in natural-looking transformations for women with fine or thinning hair. My work is rooted in creating hair that feels effortless to wear and supportive of long-term hair health as well as beautifully integrated with your lifestyle.
Many of the women who have found their way into my chair are navigating changes in their hair texture and density and struggling to maintain their confidence through it all. They've been overwhelmed by conflicting advice, frustrated by extensions that have felt bulky or caused worse hair loss, or they're searching for an experience that feels thoughtful and more personalized. This is what guided my purpose.
At Salon Ezer, I take a tailored, results-driven approach to both extensions and color, blending modern color techniques with careful product selection, understanding that healthy hair should never be sacrificed for aesthetic results.
I specialize in hand-crafted, light weight keratin bonds and physics-forward hidden bead wefts, both for the purpose of supporting your natural hair growth. My color work focuses on soft, natural dimension with seamless grow-out, and customized tones that enhance your natural features in a way that feals polished, timeless, and wearable.
When women sit in my chair, they want more than just pretty hair. They want the hair they remember having when they felt the most confident. That's why I approach every service with a long-term mindset, helping you create a hair routine and maintenance plan that evolves alongside your lifestyle, goals, and natural hair needs. Rather than chasing trends or one-time transformations, my focus is on creating hair that remains timeless, beautiful, and wearable over time.
When I'm not in the salon, I'm usually studying the connection between nutrition and hair health, reading history, or continuing my education to refine my craft. At home I can often be found baking bread, making homemade pasta, exploring trails with my family, slowing everyone down to photography tiny flowers and bugs, cheering at hockey games, and occasionally reminiscing about Florida beaches and salty air.
I'm an old soul with a playful personality, a little science-minded, a little artistic, and the kind of person who still reads the newspaper.
If that sounds like someone you'd enjoy spending a few hours with while creating hair you truly love ,I'd be honored to have you in my chair.
