Hair Extensions

There are stylists that offer hair extensions, and there are extension specialists. The difference matters most when your hair is fine or low-density, because the wrong method, the wrong weight, or the wrong install can make things worse rather than better.

I specialize in extensions for women with fine and thinning hair. That means every method I offer, every bond I hand-craft, and every install I do is built around protecting what you have while giving you more to work with.

3 Extension Methods

A specialist doesn't only offer one type of extension method. I only offer what I've determined to be the safest methods, particularly for fine and thinning hair, where protecting your natural hair during wear is non-negotiable. Below you'll find my three top choice methods to help prepare for your consultation.

Keratin Bonds

You may know these as K-Tips, and you might have heard they're damaging. For a long time, they were. The problem was weight: most ready-made bonds are simply too heavy for fine or low-density hair, and that extra weight caused real hair loss for a lot of women. That's exactly why I hand-craft every bond myself. Each one is made specifically for your density so they'll be light enough that your natural hair can handle it safely, while also being matched to your exact color so the result looks like hair you grew yourself. These invisible pearl bonds can be worn 2-4 months, and since I made your bonds, you can reuse your hair at each maintenance appointment.

This service ranges from $875 - $3600 depending on your end goal.

A consultation and deposit is required for all new extension services.

Artisanal Craftmanship

You've probably never thought too much about how extensions are made but the process of making keratin bonds is intricate, takes time and skill, and absolutely is an artisanal craft. I study with More Than A Method, continuously perfecting the skill of hand-crafting your bonds.

Why handmade?

Often times, ready-made bonds are too heavy for a safe strand-for-strand install, and this is where the "bad rap" of keratin bonds came from. That extra weight caused a lot of hair loss for women. I choose handmade to ensure the weight of the bond is only enough that your natural hair can handle. This also ensures the most natural, realistic result, so that your extensions actually look like you grew this hair yourself!

One-for-One Color Match

Hand-crafting your bonds also means the color blend is made specifically for you. A mixture of tones are chosen and hand blended together in order to blend seamlessly and enhance your color. No one else will be walking around with your exact shade!

Pearl Bonds

I use the best rated keratin in a shade that matches your natural base to make invisible little pearls that attach your extensions to your hair. This is so you can barely feel them, so that you truly can forget you're wearing extensions (and no one else will know either!)

CBM Sew-In's

CBM Is a method trademarked by Harper Ellis Hair Co. It is a hidden bead method that was created with the intention to better balance the weight of extensions as well as prevent beads from showing or popping out during wear experience. It offers beautiful, safe, and comfortable grow-outs with maintenance appointments occurring every 6-8 weeks.

This service ranges between $825 - $3000 depending on your end goal.

Maintenance appointments range between $175 - $250

Custom Clip-Ins

If you aren't sure yet whether extensions are right for you, but you'd like to try them for a special event coming up, custom clip-in's are a great place to start. This service offers custom color to prep your clip-in extensions, paired with an install-lesson and a blending cut so you can safely and confidently wear your clip-ins whenever you wish.

This service is $900 and includes a new set of clip-in extensions.

Maintenance appointments are unnecessary but color maintenance may be scheduled.

Extension Rescue

Did you go somewhere else for your extension service and got less than what you expected? Maybe your extensions feel really bulky at the nape, or they're peaking out and not so hidden? Maybe the color is off, or the hair is blending? I've curated this service package as a way to honor and protect your initial investment while giving you the results you were hoping for. We'll pinpoint the issues your having, completely remove your extensions, color balance your extensions to match your natural hair, and give you a CBM re-install with a proper blending cut, because starting over with nothing to show for it isn't an option.

This service is $300 with optional treatment add-on's available.
